Everything about poster printing in Paris

The poster is still the most direct way to catch the eye: in a window, on a wall, in a lobby or on street furniture, it has to show deep colours and crisp detail even at large size. In our poster printing workshop in Paris, we pick the size, paper and finish that truly serve your message with you, from a single print to a long run. Here are the key markers before you launch your project — plus one reminder: everything can be adjusted.

Sizes

We print the whole A range, from a counter-top A4 to A0, plus the public display sizes: 40 × 60 cm for bus shelters, 120 × 176 cm for urban panels, as well as the 60 × 80 and 50 × 70 so common in galleries and shops. A non-standard size, a panoramic poster or an exact fit to your existing frame? We produce it made to measure, at the precise dimensions you need.

Papers & weights

  • Glossy or satin coated stock from 135 to 250 gsm: the standard for rich visuals, vivid photos and dense solids.
  • Glare-free matte paper, ideal for a sunny window or direct lighting, for comfortable close-up reading.
  • Opaque blueback paper for urban billposting and pasting: it hides the previous poster and holds up under shelter.

Looking for recycled paper, a heavier weight or a particular texture? Ask us: we source the stock that matches your brand.

Finishes & options

Depending on use, the poster can take a matte or gloss lamination that protects it from rubbing and moisture, mounting on a rigid panel to turn it into a sign, eyelets or an adhesive backing to hang it without a frame. Spot varnish, rigid lamination, UV-resistant inks: we combine the finishes that extend the life of your display. A finish you don't see in this list? We do it — tell us about your project.

Display & uses

  • Window and point of sale: promotions, new arrivals, collection launches on satin or matte paper.
  • Culture and events: concerts, exhibitions, shows and trade fairs, in small or large runs.
  • Urban billposting and campaigns: bus shelters, 120 × 176 panels and poster networks in blueback paper.

Preparing your file

Supply a CMYK PDF at final size, with 3 to 5 mm bleed and outlined text or embedded fonts. For a large poster seen from a distance, 100 to 150 dpi at real scale is enough; up close, aim for 300 dpi. No print-ready file? Our prepress studio in Paris proofreads, corrects and lays out your poster, and we always check your document before going to press.
