Stocks & materials

• ✓Matt poster 135 to 200 gsm: comfortable, glare-free reading, ideal indoors, under lighting and in light-exposed windows.
• ✓Gloss poster: saturated colours and deep contrast, perfect for photo visuals, entertainment and retail.
• ✓Blue-back paper: reinforced opacity for billboard and bus-shelter pasting, with no show-through.

Sizes

We print the full standard range, from A3 (29.7 × 42 cm) to A0+ (84 × 119 cm), including A2 and A1, in portrait or landscape. Consumer sizes such as 40 × 60 cm or 60 × 80 cm are also common for windows and snap frames. And because Welye works to measure, an off-standard size, a panoramic poster or a dimension set by your existing frame? We do it: tell us about your project and we set the format to the millimetre.

Finishes & options

The poster stays a deliberately simple product, but a few options make the difference: matt or gloss lamination to protect a frequently handled poster, encapsulation for reusable signage, eyelets for quick hanging, or pre-cutting to a specific size. Hanging, mounting or use

A poster fits anywhere: slid into a snap frame or poster holder, stretched over a board, pasted in a bus shelter, fixed with eyelets or simply taped in a window. For outdoor display or durable pasting, go for blue-back and a heavy stock. In Paris and the Île-de-France region, we can also handle the installation and removal of your posters and wraps: a single point of contact, from printing to display.

Preparing your file

• ✓High-resolution PDF, in CMYK, with 3 to 5 mm of bleed and outlined text or embedded fonts.
• ✓Images at 150 dpi minimum at final scale: a poster is viewed from a distance, but a sharp visual remains essential.
• ✓Safety margins for important text, especially if the poster is framed or pasted edge to edge.
