What French law requires on your letters
For a company, business documents — letterhead included — must show the company name, legal form and share capital, the SIREN number followed by the RCS mention and registry city, and the registered office address. Sole traders add "EI" after their name. These are legal obligations (article R.123-237 of the French commercial code) and omissions can be fined — at proof stage, we go through the checklist with you, point by point.
