Everything about catalogue printing in Paris
A catalogue is your whole offer gathered into an object people leaf through, keep and reach for when they decide to buy. In Paris, we print product catalogues, sales catalogues, collection books and colour charts, from small prototyping runs to large distribution volumes. Our job does not stop at the press: we advise you on pagination, binding and paper so every spread showcases your references and makes ordering feel natural.
Sizes & pagination
The classic A4 (21 × 29.7 cm) and A5 (14.8 × 21 cm) remain safe choices, while the square format (21 × 21 cm) and landscape format showcase product visuals especially well. Page counts always follow a multiple of 4 for saddle-stitch, of 2 for perfect binding: we build the pagination together to balance your sections. An off-standard size, a special cut, a pocket mini-catalogue? We make it: tell us about your project.
Papers & weights
- ✓Inside pages on glossy or silk coated stock from 90 to 170 gsm, the best rendering for vivid, accurate product photos
- ✓Creative, tinted or textured papers, and uncoated offset stock for a warmer, more natural feel
- ✓Reinforced cover from 250 to 350 gsm, or rigid board for a premium book that lasts
- ✓Recycled and FSC-certified papers for a genuine eco-friendly approach
Bindings
Saddle-stitch suits up to roughly 64 pages: economical, fast, perfect for seasonal catalogues. Beyond that, perfect binding gives a printable spine and a book-like feel; the sewn version adds the top-end sturdiness of reference works. Spiral or wire-o binding lets the catalogue lie flat, ideal for colour charts and manuals used daily. We steer you to the right binding for your thickness and use.
Finishes & options
The cover deserves real attention: gloss lamination for deep colours, soft-touch for a velvety feel, or matt anti-mark film. We gladly add spot UV to highlight a logo, hot foil, embossing or die-cutting. Inside, dividers, tabs or a ribbon marker ease navigation. A special finish not listed here? Tell us, we produce it to measure.
Offset or digital
For a few dozen to a few hundred copies, digital printing is fast with no make-ready surcharge: ideal for a prototype, a regional version or frequent updates. From several hundred to thousands of catalogues, offset wins on unit cost and colour consistency. We weigh it up against your quantity, budget and deadline, and quote both routes if needed.
Preparing your file
Supply a high-resolution PDF in single pages — never as spreads — with 3 to 5 mm bleed, 300 dpi images and CMYK colour. Mind the gutter margin, more generous in perfect binding so nothing is lost in the spine. Our prepress studio checks every file free of charge and can also handle the full layout. Printing your catalogue in Paris also means having someone who proofreads your project before going to press.
