Everything about correspondence cards printed in Paris
Invitation card, greetings card, thank-you note or announcement: these small printed pieces say a lot about your brand and your events. In our Paris workshop, we print refined correspondence cards on premium papers, with the finishes that turn a plain card into a memorable gesture. Here are the key pointers to plan your project, then make it exactly as you picture it.
Sizes
The correspondence classics remain A6 (105 × 148 mm), square (for example 140 × 140 mm) and the slim DL shape, ideal for invitations slipped into a thin envelope. A card can be single (one leaf) or folded, opening up four faces to play with. Need an unusual format, an oversized square or a long ribbon folded in three? We also work to bespoke sizes: give us the exact dimensions and we calibrate them with matching envelopes.
Papers & weights
A correspondence card lives through its paper: it is the paper that holds firm, that you touch, that sets the tone. We favour heavier weights and creative papers that change everything under the fingers.
- ✓Textured creative papers (laid, felt, cotton) from 300 to 400 gsm for a firm hold and a premium feel
- ✓Coated matt or gloss papers for crisp visuals and deep colours
- ✓Recycled and certified papers for a more responsible approach, without giving up elegance
- ✓Duplexed or mounted cards (up to 600 gsm and beyond) for a thick, precious effect
- ✓A specific paper in mind, a coloured core, a painted edge? We source it for you
Finishes & embellishments
This is where the card becomes an object. Hot foil stamping (gold, silver, copper, colours) catches the light on a monogram or a first name; embossing and debossing push the paper up or down for a relief you feel at your fingertips. Add a spot varnish to make a detail shine, a soft-touch lamination for a discreet velvet finish, or die-cutting for rounded corners and original outlines. A finish you don't see listed? Describe it and we will find the process.
Envelopes & personalisation
A beautiful card deserves its case. We supply envelopes in matching sizes and colours, lined if you wish, and we can print them (return address, inner pattern). For personalised mailings, variable-data printing lets you print a different name, table number or QR code on each card: ideal for client invitations, corporate greetings or announcements.
Preparing your file
For a crisp print, send a high-resolution PDF (300 dpi), in CMYK, with 3 mm bleed and text kept at least 4 mm from the edges. Remember to supply a separate path for foiling, embossing or die-cutting, set as a named spot colour. No artwork ready? Our Paris prepress studio handles layout, colour matching and technical paths. An unusual format, a particular paper, a special finish? We do it: tell us about your project and we reply quickly with a clear quote.
