In our finishing & converting workshop in Paris, we handle lamination, spot UV, hot foiling, embossing and die-cutting to bring relief, texture and value to your cards, brochures, packaging and invitations. Laminations

Lamination is a thin film hot-applied onto the print. It protects against rubbing, moisture and fingerprints while changing both the look and the feel. Matte softens colours and gives a muted touch; gloss revives tones and makes photos pop; soft-touch, our favourite, offers a premium velvety feel that is noticed from the very first handling.

Spot UV varnish

Spot UV lays a clear coating only on the areas you choose: a logo, a headline, a pattern. In 2D it plays on the gloss-against-matte contrast; in 3D it creates real relief you can feel under your finger. Applied over a soft-touch lamination, the effect is striking. It highlights a detail without overloading the whole design.

Foiling & embossing

Hot foiling stamps a metallic foil onto the stock: gold, silver, copper, but also rose gold, hologram or matte shades. Embossing reshapes the paper in relief or, when debossed, into a recess for an effect you can feel, with or without ink. Combined, foiling and embossing sign off the most prestigious pieces: high-end business cards, invitations, covers and luxury packaging.

Die-cutting & converting

Beyond surface effects, converting gives the print its final shape. We handle custom contour die-cutting, rounded corners, creasing and folding for flawless leaflets, perforation, numbering and brochure binding. This is the step that turns your project from a printed sheet into a finished object, ready to be handed out or displayed.

Tips & file preparation

For a successful finish, each effect must be marked on a dedicated 100% black layer, separate from the artwork. We provide the templates, check your files and advise you on the combinations that work best.
