Exhibiting in Paris: the printing checklist

Published 11 June 2026 · Welye advice

A successful show, printing-wise, is a matter of calendar. Here is the checklist we share with our exhibiting clients — paste it into your countdown plan.

D-30 · Scope

  • List your products: roll-ups, backdrop, counter, flyers, cards — our signage guide helps build the kit.
  • Request the quote with the show opening date: the whole schedule is planned backwards from it.
  • Check the venue's exhibitor rules (dimensions, height limits).

D-15 · Produce the files

  • High-resolution PDF, bleed, CMYK — details here, free file check.
  • Have a fresh pair of eyes proofread everything (booth number, URL, typos).
  • Approve the proof quickly: every day a proof waits delays production.

D-7 · Production & delivery logistics

D-2 · Check

  • Count and open every parcel received: an issue? We reprint on express.
  • Prepare the rescue kit: gaffer tape, cutter, microfibre cloth.
  • Save your printer's number: +33 1 80 91 64 61.

Show day · Build

  • Set up the backdrop first, roll-ups next, the counter last.
  • Keep the carry bags: teardown will go twice as fast.
  • A missing or damaged item? Call early in the morning: depending on the product, a same-day express solution may exist.
