Paris trade shows, autumn 2026: when should you start printing?
Published 5 July 2026 · Welye news
Every year, the same mechanics: September-October shows are prepared in July-August, not the week of opening. Autumn 2026 looks packed across Paris venues — here's how to get ahead while your competitors are at the beach.
Autumn 2026: a dense season across Paris venues
From September to November, major events follow one another at Porte de Versailles, Paris Nord Villepinte and the Palais des Congrès. For exhibitors it means one thing: build-up slots, carriers — and printers' schedules — all fill up at the same time.
The printing countdown, backwards from show day
- ✓D-30: list your items and get the quote — this is when the backdrop, counter and roll-ups get decided.
- ✓D-15: final files (bleed, CMYK — the guide) and proof approved. Every day a proof waits delays production.
- ✓D-7: production under way, delivery booked on your build-up slot — hall, booth, on-site contact.
- ✓D-2: parcels counted and opened. An issue? There's still time to react calmly.
The detailed version lives in the exhibitor's printing checklist — and choosing the right items in the signage guide.
Why July-August is the perfect moment
- ✓Schedules breathe: relaxed proofing, time to adjust a visual, pick of the slots.
- ✓Visuals mature: the message readable from 5 metres, the one-strong-idea hierarchy — crafted without a ticking clock.
- ✓New formats get tested: folding structures, beach flags, counters — time to see a sample before committing.
The displays of a booth that works
A coherent set-up beats one beautiful isolated piece: the backdrop sets the scene, roll-ups make the case, the counter starts the conversation, the hanging banner attracts from afar — and brochures and cards leave in visitors' pockets. The point of printing everything in one place: colours matched across every item. Our portable displays guide covers each family.
International exhibitor? Anticipate even more
If you're coming from abroad, printing in France removes customs and long-distance freight: we deliver straight to your booth during build-up, working in English from quote to delivery (the full how-to).
One printer's tip to finish: block 1 hour this week to list your items and send the quote request. Come September, you'll thank yourself.
